Scam phone call from Social Security Admin.

Been called 4 times by this number. Never answered it because I don't know it. Voicemail always says they're SS Administration and my SS number has been suspended due to suspicious activity

Call from "Social Security Adm" about suspending my SSN due to suspicious activity... Social Security does not have any number like this, and they do not call if there is a problem.

I received several calls all afternoon from 888-810-9xxx claiming to be social security. I'd deny the call and they would call right back from a different but similar number. It's a scam people! Do not be drawn in by these low-lifes! Social Security would not call you! They contact you thru the mail.

I have now received multiple calls from 888-810-xxxx numbers.  There is a hostile toned voice on the caller's end leaving a message about a warrant out for my arrest and other flavors of Social Security Number badness - which doesn't make any sense.  So, I believe this is a pfishing attempt to acquire anyone's SSN - and felt it was worth posting here.  Who is actively working on a fix to simply post the REAL number of a caller, and disallow editing a number you are calling from?
