This individual called me out of the blue speaking about my computer leaking information to the internet, then said he needed me to go to a website and give him my passwords so that he can clear out the virus.

have had two calls from these people.  Even when I told them I had been away for three weeks and no computers were connected he was  still very pushy, insisting that I log on and give him info or I would be in trouble a my computer was "broadcasting all over the net".  I of course did not and when I asked him why my ISP was not making the call he got flustered and I hung up.

called the phone company and they are a known scamming group but they can't block them.

The page here needs another selection under "Caller type"  ...Phishing call??? Computer info???

Yes, they called me.... and helped a lot.... I was facing some problem with my computer and they were very good in solving it

I have had numerous messages from this company always the same person I have tried everything to stop him calling but he is very very insistent. Yesterday he called and I could not make out a word he said but I managed to recognize his voice so asked for his name and number and I would have my son call.  I was  told he was a scam.  What a job to have.

Just got done with this call.  Came up on caller ID as 905 294 0324.  Did reverse look up and it is a baskin robbins ice cream, 8525 McCowan Rd, Unionville, Ontario.   He gave me the same lingo, in very poor english, about leaking info all over the internet.  What a joke.  Said his name was John Cotco or Costco??  Works for ISM Canada.  Looked up their website and there is a warning dated Oct 24th about this very scam.
