Called from an "Unavailable" number.  Left a voicemail that says they are from Wells Fargo's Disaster Assistance Team.  They mentioned that they are aware of a disaster that caused extensive damage in my area and that I haven't yet called for assistance.  The only issue is there has been no disaster in my area.  They left the phone number for me to call back if I had a financial hardship or sustained property damage.

It's from Wells Fargo all right, but it's still an advertisement and a clear violation of the TCPA.  I received it but don't have a recording.  If you have a recording, please forward it to zephen at gmail, and I will share all my prepared small claims analysis and materials with you.  Thanks!  (Note that it isn't really a telemarketing call per se, but it does fall under the TCPA's definition of advertising, and does not fall into any of the exemption categories.)

Received a call from this number shows up as Wells Fargo.  Caller barely spoke English, stated he was with Wells Fargo Disaster Relief - and my account had two pending charges $1900.00 and $900.00.  I told him I NEVER banked with Wells Fargo.  He then stated the account was opened yesterday (Sunday) and the charges were pending with JPMorgan Company.  I informed him I didn't bank with them either and I was reporting the call to our local Police Department and I ended the call.
