- ChrisI discontinued Comcast 2 days ago. Tired of paying $150.00/month for one DVR and two adapters. I switched over to U-Verse and am very happy. If Comcast dropped their price AND gave me AnyRoom DVR for free, I may have stayed with them. This is the beauty of competition. My Comcast monthly bill as December 21, 2010 was $100.21. The following months the price was raised for the same service. From $100.21 --> $100.31 --> $106.64 --> $106.86 --> $106.86 --> $106.88 --> $106.88 --> $130.78 --> $142.40 --> $142.40. Kind of sneaky, but I'm done with the monopoly. - Cheers

and when I look its this number. Can't figure out yet why my phone don't ring but I am glad it don't.

- ChrisCanceled Comcast last week. This sounded like a contractor working for Comcast marketing. Obviously had zero access to records on the conversations I had last week, etc... Very annoying that they keep calling from different numbers; their irresponsible calling habits guaranteed that I wasn't going to give their agent a chance to succeed.

I returned call and message said they were calling on behalf of Comcast with a special promotion and press 1 to speak with agent or press 2 to be placed on "do not call list" which could take up to 30 days.
