Called when no one was home and left no message.  This number is a dead giveaway for a scam.  What telemarke-trash would use such an obviously bogus number?  They are slipping!  HAHA

Just called me again, less than 24 hours since the last call.  Having read the posts about it being a bogus auto warranty call, I answered the phone, ready to tell them to go fly a kite (not in those words!).  When I answered, however, there was silence.  Now I'm mad at myself for answering the phone.  I usually don't, but I broke my own rule.  Now I've opened myself up for further calls.  Shame on me!

LADY CALLED TODAY AT 11:15 A.M. SAYING OUR WARRANTY WAS UP ON OUR CAR AND WANTED US TO EXTEND IT. TOLD HER WASN'T INTERESTED. JUST RECEIVED ANOTHER CALL AT
5:28 P.M. FROM SAME NUMBER..THIS TIME I DIDN'T  ANSWER IT. CALLER ID SAYS TOLL FREE CALL.

Don't know who is calling, they don't leave a message on voice mail, and is silent when you answer. It eventually hangs up when you sit there hoping a voice will answer. It can't be a bill collector, and only the number appears on the display. Been getting these bogus calls for a couple of months.

Called to say that the warranty on my 2002 Kia  had expired...not the first call....about a car I haven't owned in years. I asked again to be taken off their list...we'll see. MS PSC and the FTC will be  notified...they eat this stuff up!!

This "number" called me just a moment ago on our landline. I picked up, nobody was there. Just silence. The caller ID said this was "v71016304700019" and had that number on it. Okayyyy.. um. whatever.  We are also on the DNC list. Next number we get when we move out of the area soon will not be put on the DNC list... It seems that when you put yourself on that list you get tons of [***] calls.

I have had 888-888-0000 call me everyday for the last month. they have stated they were collecting debt for a credit card my husband has. he doesnt have any.... that was weird they also stated my insurance also wasnt covering my car properly. i dont
have a car. just very annoying dont waste your time answering for this number!

Scum Bags just called. I didn't answer so the just hung up. I'm like everyone else who is 'supposed' to be on the DNC list. They just ignore it!

It's a scam John, these low lifes don't abide by the laws. They are only looking out for themselves. Report the number to the FTC, then block it.

888-888-0000 called 07-16-2013, ID:Toll Free,  When anwered the moron said my name and she hung-up.  This company sends mail to my address regarding my vehicle's age and wanting to insure my vechicle for maintance.  Thanks for the info regarding this scammer.  Wm R. Burns,  2655 N. Ocean Dr. Ste. 401, West Palm Beach , Fl. 33404,561-275-7040.  Let's call Mr. Burns every second of the day and bugg him like his telemarketing morons bugg us.  This may give the moron a message he can't refuse.  Maybe, Mr. Burns will put our numbers on the do not call list!  Second choice:  Jerry Seinfeld enaged in an in-depth conversation with the morons...ask many, many questions!

I keep getting calls from 888-888-0000, but when I answer, no one is on the line.  It is very interruptive and extremely annoying.

Didn't answer - - phone no on caller id was dead-give-away of scammer call.  Had other calls from other numbers on the same subject of expired warranty on a car.  And, I'm also on state and fed DNC lists - - which are a waste of tax payer money.....

You are wasting your time reporting this number to the DNC list.  Just look at the number-----it is bogus.  No legit phone number would end with "0000".  Probably a VOIP phone system where they can make up their own phone "numbers".
