While I do work at Toyota Motor Sales, I am employed as an entry-level janitor, I mean, custodial engineer.

They are calling you because you or someone you know might have become late on a car note - They are not a collection agency.  They where hired to locate the vehicle for Toyota, Lexus, Wells Fargo, Bank of America, GMAC, Suntrust, HSBC, Harley Davidson, and Wachovia.  They use a system from LexisNexis which tracks information on everyone.  Anyone you have ever lived with, associated with and related to.  Anything that reports under your name or your ssn which includes address and phone numbers.  They also use the original credit application to contact anyone put down has a reference.  It sucks I know but that is what they do.  When they called me they told me they where calling from IGS and that they where looking for my sister.  I didn't give them any information.  I do not like receiving these calls just like all of you but I guess they have to, to get back the car, unlike the home the car moves and they dont always know where the car is and it is collateral for the debt taken out unlike a credit card which isn't secured.  I hope this helps you all understand what and why they do what they do.

The person Eileen at extension 1493 is rude and has no respect for calling a business. The person she needs to speak to is not reachable here at this business. She has made threats and hangs ups. I called this number to speak to her supervisor and no one seems to report to anyone. This women should no be working in customer service!

I received a phone call from someone with the same last name with me after they said that a representative gave them my whole SSN, address, and phone number saying that I was "a sorry excuse for a human" & a "deadbeat".  I dont owe the company anything and am in the process of refinancing for a lower rate with another company.  I understand that they may feel as though they are entitled to their full amount plus interest, however they are not.  This is definitely breaking the law and should be handled appropriately.  Luckily the person that received the call didnt try to steal my identity.
