Got another call and called the number and they said they're looking for someone who doesn't live here and we don't know. Told them to stop calling and that I'm going to report it to the do not call registry. If they are collectors they are in violation leaving a message and not stating who they are and what they are calling about.

I found out that they're American Express because I called their customer service number and they said it is their number. I called the number and asked them if they are a collection agency or if it's a collections call and I was told "they can't disclose that". I complained to the American Express number about the calls stating there's no such person here. American Express told me it's their "credit department".  I always thought of them as reputable but I don't like them calling and leaving a message without saying who they are and calling for someone who doesn't live here!

Why nobody talks on credit companies and how they don't respect initial agreement on annual percentage but keep it increasing whenever they want?

My initial one was 3.9% and now, after 5 years is almost 30%. That's totally unacceptable, and am sure there are many of those with same problem and the main reason why they stopped making payments.

Regarding that 888 number, just ignore it, do not call back, and if possible, block them...  ;)

I believe she should get a real job.  Look at AIG, took our hard earned money and had a really nice party, Bank of America, same thing, CitiBank, same thing, she is harassing the wrong individuals, go after Bank of America and CitiBank (you will have enough to do).
