can't figure out who they are.

Received a call from NCO financial, "Greg", stated a file number and notified me that it was a call to collect a debt.  Have no idea what's up.

They have been calling nonstop but not leaving any messages.

Have no clue why they keep calling and no answer when I return the call.

Not sure how many times they can ignore me telling them that I'm not the person they're trying to collect a debt from, and how many times they can ask me if I know that person, and get "no" for an answer.  Have even had my husband answer the calls and say the same.  Not sure how many times they want to call and get my voice mail which clearly states my name, and NOT the name of the person they're looking for.  Message, after message, after message.  Call after call after call.

This is full-on harassment, and I'm not even the person they're trying to collect from.

Number for a "collection agency". Called my office number at the college where I teach. Told me they had no outstanding claims associated with my number but that they would be able to determine why I was called if i would simply give them my Social Security number. I challenged the person I was talking to and advised I was about to report them - the person hung up. This looks like an ID theft scheme.  

I answered a call from 415-688-2307, and the caller, a woman, said she was calling from some company I didn't recognize and that there was a "business matter" that they needed to discuss with me.  She said my name (at least my first name).  She asked for my birth date or something to confirm my identity.  I replied that I couldn't give such information under those circumstances and asked for a callback number.  That's when I was given the number 888-899-5924.

Woman called said she was from TransWorld Systems. That I am to call back, gave a reference number. That was it. caller id had 314-925-1623
