This is TracFone's "migration" hotline. It will get you directly to a live representative. It's for upgrading your TracFone cell phone to one that will work with new carrier network changes, such as when the carriers were dismantling the 2G network in 2016-2017, or now (2020-2022) when the 3G networks are shutting down, and your old phone will no longer work.
Currently the line is called "Verizon migration", but it's run by TracFone, not Verizon. It has nothing to do with Verizon's acquisition of TracFone. As of June 2022 all carriers except Verizon have shut down their 3G networks; only Verizon's remains but that will shut down by Dec. 31, 2022.
If you have a phone that's 4G, LTE, or 5G, you don't need to bother with "migration". It's only for upgrading (often for free) your 3G-only phone.
