I was left this number threatening a summons. I called and the person said this is Ryan how can i help you.

Left voicemail threatening with summons same as other reports...um yeah I'm a single mom of 4 living in a hotel for the past 8 months! Take anything you want of mine because I basically have nothing! Idiot collectors

Just got a call from them saying someone would be serving me at my home and at my job unless I wanted to settle a bad check over the phone....uhh I've never wrote a check for anything so the hell you talking about

Why would you call criminals back? This is the "process server/debt collection" extortion scam.

First, you should make a complaint at this Federal Agency, and while there you should also read up on how debt collection is supposed to work as well as what your rights in this matter are: https://www.consumerfinance.gov/

Also file a complaint with your State Attorney General's office.

A lady named Terry Hart called me saying that I have a complaint against me and she will file in my county.  It sounds fishy and like a scam.  Not going to call back.

If you call that number the guy answering says NCR  and then National Check Resolution.  Just another debt collector.

Just received call on cell from a local number 757-394-9633 after i heard "we have a file attached to your social security number" I hung up and blocked number. One minute later they left a vm on my cell referencing an old address and work phone stating to call 888-901-6893 x103. If it's legit let 'emdo what they have to do but i have nothing for them and not calling back.

Received similar voicemail this week, number showing up as a local number on caller ID but left the 8889016893 number to call back. Her name was Michelle from NCR and she called twice saying I will be processed by Friday if I don't call back and that I have ignored the documents that were sent to my house. I have yet to receive any documents stating I owe anyone, so let them process. My bills are up to date and I haven't bounced a check in over 20+ years. Friday is tomorrow, 2/8, so I guess I will see what happens tomorrow. I did not call them back and sent the local number to auto reject.

Same thing Terry Hart has documents and attached social as well as references then named four people I know and listed a previous address. She says call her back it's very important. Soooooo not calling back!

Terry Hart called my EX husband this morning looking for me. We've been divorced for 15 years..she also called my number and stated she'd called multiple times and I must return her call immediately. ..nope this is the first call and I'm not calling back. It is a scam.

Rude and won’t tell what I’m regards to. I don’t ever tell a stranger my info or verify my info unless they’re willing to tell me where they’re calling about.

This number has tried calling my work 5x within the past 3 minutes. They call for half a ring and then hang up. I have called the number back and nobody answered.

Called and said she has a case against me. This is a check recovery company and my husband and I do t write checks on our account. Said if I have representation by counsel they can call here directly. This is her first call but she said she was calling me “again”.

If you had written a bad check you would have been informed about it by your bank.  They would have charged you money as well.  I would suggest that you take the time to read the other posts before you get scammed by criminals.

Received call today. It’s a scam. They have to state it’s an attempt to collect a debt and used a spoof number to appear local which is illegal
