My poor mother got a fax saying "All aboard! Book your vacation now!" with extremely low travel rates listed to major US cities, including the one in which I live. She was excited and had already called them; she said they sounded legitimate but asked that I call them to make sure.

The fax had no business name on it. When I called, I was answered by a woman who simply said, "reservations." After some chatting, she said the name of the company was WW Travel, and that the low prices were simply "corporate overflow" because they do vacation packages with Fortune 500 companies. Flights could be booked from my closest airport, and I was given the choice of Hilton, Marriott, or Westin as my hotel choices. The only requirements for travel booking were that I booked NINETY DAYS OUT with CHECK BY PHONE.

Guess what that means? They'll withdraw 200 bucks from your checking account and make you wait a long time for your travel-- just long enough for the grace period to file a claim with your bank expires.

To make matters worse, they don't have a website.

Thankfully, my mother wasn't taken advantage of. This has SCAM written all over it. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!!

Several months ago I fell into this scam. I was so exicted to see the vacation options and the low prices. I have been wanting to take my two children and husband on a vacation and just knew this was the answer that I was looking for. Not really knowing what I was doing I went ahead and signed up for a 3 day/ 2 night cruise with a bonus 3 day / 2 night island stay. After giving all my information...not thinking went ahead and gave them my checking information to make payment. I waited and waited to recieve my travel packet and when I recieved my packet it looked legitimate, but after reviewing the documents they gave you no number to call to make final arrangements and only asked for you to send final payment to a PO Box in some state. I tried calling the orginal number and all they do is hang-up. By this point the money for the trip has already cleared my account and there is nothing else that my bank can do. I did go ahead and turn this so called organization into my state Attorney General and filed a complaint. At the same time the Attorney General said that there is very little that they can do because these are fly by night scams and they set up PO Box and temporary numbers which makes it exteremly hard to find these scam organizations because they can move extermely quick when they have to.

The sad part about this whole things is all the people that they are taking advantage of and taking there money that they have worked hard for. I would hate for other people to fall into this scam as I did. It was a major learning lesson on my part and I will never let this happen again. If it is too good to be true...then it probably really is!!

They Faxed me travel deals.  Said they were a travel liquidator company with fortune 500 companies.  I booked a travel deal from Tampa to Miami (2) nights at the Hilton including air from Tampa and they debited my account but I have had no email confirmation or travel docs.  I have used other travel promotional packages and have benefitted alot so I assumed this was similar. Has anyone received any travel documents from this company?

My wife told me about this great deal on travel and how she had to book today, or the deal would be over, so I called and talked to the lady, and she actually hung up on me because I asked to many questions.  She said the company was WW Travel.  I went online, and there are some websites that could be this company.  I'm guessing they chose that name for that reason, so they might look legitimate.  Thanks so much to everyone who posts here so that others can find this and keep from getting scammed out of their money.  The people that do this crime will recieve their punishment when they stand before their Maker.
