Calling about fake case number

Scam. Threating lawsuit.

Leaves robomessage for a name that's never been associated with my number, threatening lawsuit,

caller said they were trying to send legal documents to me, did not ask my name, but they recited my name, address and birth date, and asked for confirmation...they obviously also had my phone number.

More info. I asked for a callback number where i could verify they were legitimate. They gave me the 888-927-9687 number and also referenced a case number. I called the 888 number and recorded message said number not valid.

Called this number after a woman named Bella called my brother saying there was a pending lawsuit against my mom with Wells Fargo. We called the number and a woman named Alex Moore answered the phone. We fell for the scam. I've dealt with my own legal actions with a bank and just wanted it to be done and I was quick to act but not quick to pay enough attention to realize what was happening.

Scam. Called my number asking for someone else in my family. I called the number. They told me some lies. Didn't give them any info.
