I just got the same letter from Marie Carr as Bostonian did, I'm also in the Boston area.

I just got the same exact letter signed by Marie Carr with the phone number 855 666 9979. I knew it had to a fraud.  First it is to good to be true...you never get nothing for nothing... Also, there is not even an address or a website on the letter.  Every company has a website address these days.

I got the same with Margaret Burns, Customer Relations Manager.  Was about to call as I had received so many of these in the last month.  So glad that I came here first.

I have same letter (received yesterday in  central Florida)from National Association of Travelers, signed by Margaret Burns to call 1-844-824-4463. When i googled I got this sight. Scam artists are everywhere.

Got the letter in the Tampa Bay area. 2 free tickets signed by Margaret Burns.  The number is now 1-844-876-2691.

I also got the samething./.. totally scam.

It is a scam, what can we do  the letter has a zip code # 60699 its from Chicago Illinois, Gazetter Cook County. The postal Permit # on the letter is 6325. i googled all this information. The post office is 433 W Harrison St. Chicago Il. Phone no. 312-692-6120. I think scaming over the us mail is a federal crime maybe the fbi would like to look into this information . Remember the Postal Mailers Postmark Permitt is 6325, the post office should have more information about This Mellisa Black or the scamer. Do not call the number on the letter. Ps. This scam is the same as the voucher that looked like a check last year 2013. I received the voucher and the letter . if someone calls the F.B.I they would have a good chance of an arrest with the information above.

got the same phoney letter mailed from Chicago illinois (postmark permit is 6325)  mailed from zip code 60669  number in middle is 103749.  scan your letters and envelopes and report it to the FBI  if enough of us reports it maybe they will investigate-or lets research who owns the 18776904597 number.  i doubt if it really is from an Amy Myers-Customer Relations Manager

I knew this was a scam.  They became defensive when I inquired about the tax.  They refused to give an address where I could send them money by check, money order, or cash or even gold Dubloons.  if anyone out there has their ground address I will send out the dogs with powers of arrest.

Interesting about this issue. I live in CA and have received over 200 insulting publications with a smart comment on top of the document and initial M..  I reported this issue to the Postal Inspector General in August 2014, turned over approx 50 documents, they assigned a case number then did nothing.....I received yet another letter today, same area code in Illinois and postmark permit number.  Not sure what I can do to make this stop.
