got a junk fax from 888-975-1370 and 888-774-8097   selling tickets to a Quick Books Training class that does not exist at our local hotel.

These are all SCAMS.  Stay away and save your $$$$.

The following is an email that I received in my personal, not business, email.  It is very interesting and concerning as to the boldness and where scammers are getting their victims from.  I was very suspicious of the email sent, which has, as you can see, the number that this site has marked as a scam base.  I am a Quickbooks ProAdvisor and this email does not make sense from a professional perspective so I started investigating....and here I am!  Hope no one has been hurt by these folks.  

The following is cut and paste from my email; I did not leave anything out or add anything.  The "curriculum" which they attached as a word doc (I didn't include that here) was poorly designed and had numerous spelling and grammatical errors:

"Hello Pro Advisor,

You were referred to us by Intuit as a QuickBooks Pro Advisor in the Las Vegas, NV  area.  We are currently looking for a trainer to teach our upcoming class in:

Junk fax received today for their QuickBooks training.  I filed a complaint with the FCC.

they fax these out and never show up at the hotels.   They collect your money up front and leave you hanging.  Many lawsuits against them for fraud and deception.   According to Intuit, they are not approved by them.

They are a scam, do not attend their seminars. Do not give them any money.
