They call saying they are with your credit card, and ask you to verify your social secuirty numbers.  Within24 hours I have multiple alerts of credit card applications in my name!!!  SCAM!!!

They were very insistent they could lower my interst rate on credit card. I am worried now they may use any info to open new accounts in my name.

I'm guessing you gave them that info?  What they will do is use up all of your credit card balances. Put a fraud alert at the 3 credit bureaus and stop giving your information out to anyone that calls you.

They called, several times, offering me a 0% rate.

I would like to stop this.  I realize it's a scam. I have cancelled the two credit cards, that were discussed. I explained my circumstances to the credit card companies and they have issued new cards. What else do I need to do?

Cold call asking for credit card information so they could reduce my credit card interest rates.   As soon as they asked for credit card information I told them they were a scam.    The person got angry and cussed me out saying he was a valid business.  Finally he sent me to this website to prove he was valid  - https://www.thecsgsolutions.com       Anyone can create a website!  never give out your credit card information over the phone!!!    Call was from a 512 area code

I got a call from this company called CSG Solutions and said they could get me a zero percent interest card and I could roll my existing cards balances to this card. After being on the phone with the credit card people with her speaking for me the card company wanted to know if I want to ask any questions I said yes and asked I could done this myself, CSG ended the call which told me this was probably a scam. Has anyone else gone through this situation?

They called and promised to consolidate credit card debt into one 0% card for an exorbitant fee.
They didn't produce what was promised. Now they threaten a collection agency.
