Anyone know what company this is? I didn't bother to answer when I saw it on Caller ID.

that number 888-978-7052 is from the collection agency of Jim Walker, Commerical Recovery Systems
They have called my home number consistantly, on a daily basis  looking for a Willaim Johnson, account #3814374,  Twice I called them and advised they have the wrong number.  The first time they told me they would remove my number.  I recently got more than 3 calls in one day.  I called them and the person on the phone tells me that their computer regenerated they number to call.  I told him I did not care what their computer does I wanted them to stop calling and he got smart with me.

These people keep calling my number looking for Steven McGetrick.  I finally called back and let them know they have the wrong number and the incredibly SASSY man on the other end said we were listed as a "reference" so we obviously know Steven McGetrick.  Since that is impossible he was obviously lying.  I asked them not to call again so we'll see what happens.

I keep getting calls from this number on my Fax line. I called them and the guy who answered was named "Mr Hill" But when he answered he said 'Good Morning Mr Hill how may I help you" Considering this, I was like, Um I'm not Mr Hill and you need to stop calling me. He then asked me if the number belonged to a Mr or Mrs Murphy. I said no, he said, well your caller ID clearly shows the name... I said, then why are you asking.... They don't live here anymore please stop calling and he hung up on me.  Loser!

I also have had repeated calls from this number for an Albert Hawthorne with very threatening voicemail messages accompanying the back to back calls. I have called this business repeatedly to have my number removed from their system. Each time, a little time goes by and then it all starts back up again. Today, when I called them back, and tried to again have this addressed more seriously, I was told "Sir, it's a wrong number." and was hung up on. This company needs to be stopped.
