- Suzanne replies to Phone2| 2 repliesThey just called me same thing, from a private#, 90 days, $500, guarantee...I asked them the bases that they think my car will sell, they said research from 200 websites searched, financing applications, and the market...OK..I said...they guy couldn't even pronouce my name right...loser...definitely a scam... No reason why they should be blocking their numbers...unless they have something to hide...
- Veronica replies to Suzanne| 1 replyI got this same call - but the lady was extremely polite and witty. I've been trying to sell my car for 8 months so if they think they can do it for me I'm fine with that!!!
Caller ID was blocked as well, however she provided me with a website and toll free so I wasn't too concerned. I understand being skeptical these days but it's worth a try considering I need the money and this car out out of my driveway! - Unlisted replies to VeronicaBe very careful. Read the complete contract. Also take into consideration that when you call their number it rings and then goes to an answering machine, every time, there is no switchboard (for a company they claim to be large). Imagine how hard it will be to try and get in contact with them when your 90 days is up, you have to rely on them to return your call if they choose. Also do some more research on Google and look the ‘company’ up compare other peoples issues / concerns with them, I think you might be surprised. Also another note: when looking up their domain name through whoIS (http://www.networksolutions.com/whois-search) their domain is registered to a PO box in [Vancouver, WA 98682]. And their contact / email / maintenance is from PrivacyPost.Com (which is what registered domain users use when they want to keep a secret or have something to hide). Now compare their information with a competitor like AutoTrader.Com , or any other legitimate company, which shows real addresses of their business no PO Boxes. Do as much research as possible on shifty ‘companies’ that claim they are large but no one has ever heard of them. You might be out $500.00 and still have a car in your driveway.
- vancouver dude| 3 repliesHA! these guys crack me up. first off, got a call from a blocked number (no legit company is allowed to blocks their number). guy gets me on the phone and just for fun i decide to listen to what he has to say (i used to work for autotrader so i like to hear people's pitches). tells me that i need to pay 500 bucks and he ensures me my car will sell. goes on with the "we are a bbb accredited business, no risk, blah blah, we ONLY take visa and master card so you know you're protected... (seems odd that he uses this as a selling point). so i tell him, "visa does not protect you from scams, it only protects you from purchases made from lost or stolen cards" so this [***] goes on to argue that visa protects people from scams. HA! so i give him an example of ebay and ask "so if i'm stupid enough to go on ebay and find a $10,000 watch for $1000 visa will give me my money back?" dude says yes.
decide to listen to his pathetic speech a little more. i ask for an email from him because i'm working and dont have a pen on me and he says: "well i dont have a problem sending you an email, but dont waste my time if you're not interested, i need to get you in asap. *woah woah pushy*
did some research on the net and seems like the company is shady, only been a bbb company for 1 month. seems like they have changed their names over the years. cant wait till the guy calls me back tomorrow because i am going to give him a long lecture of ethics.
PS: selling a car is never easy.advertising is not a guarantee to sell, but at least use a reputable source if you are going to invest money in advertising like local news papers, buy&sell, auto trader or even craigs list.- Caller: auto seller network

- Riles60 replies to auto seller net work SCAMI got suckered into this listing. They must have called 25 times based on my auto trader add. First it was Global Auto Registry then Auto Seller Network. They came down $250 on the price, $200 back if vehicle does not sell in 90 days. Not a single call and their website is useless in finding vehicles. They said they were going to get me $17,500 for my vehicle but they listed it for the same amount as I had on Auto Trader $13,750. I requested my refund in accordance with their extensive stipulations a week ago. Yesterday I got 3 calls from people asking about my vehicle listing on Craigs List. I never listed it on that site. I tried to find it on Craigs List but can't, so I don't know what these guys are doing.
- David SmithI got suckered into this telemarketing scam. They must have called 25 times based on my auto trader add. First it was Global Auto Registry then Auto Seller Network. They set the price for $460 at first to sell my car. Then after a week they called back and stated that they have a special sale for the price of $199.99 with a $50 warranty if the car did not sell I will get my $199.99 back.
Not a single call at all and their website are useless in finding vehicles. They said they were going to get me $16,500 for my vehicle but they listed it for the same amount as I had on Auto Trader $13,750.
Howsoever, I did call them every 2 to 3 weeks during the 90 day warranty that they sold me warranty to get my money back, each time they came with a different excuse.
Finally after 90 days, based on the warranty they sold me, I should get my $199.99 back. This time they come with another paper to sign and notarize that in order to get your money back, they should receive this paper and it would take 4 to 6 weeks for a refund.
By now I was sure I got sucked into this scam and fraud business. During this whole time of 90 days and 6 weeks of waiting not one phone calls for my car. When I would call them, 98% of the time it was to an answering machine and not a live person. I would leave messages after messages and it was never returned.
The last thing I heard from them is that darning that 90 days I should have brought my price down on my car in order for them to refund my money. So why is it, that I was never informed about this policy or regulation when they sold me the warranty? And if I wanted to sell my car cheaper or less then the market price then why should I pay them to sell my car.
This is nothing but a scam and fraud. - AmeI got a call from Jaque Goodrich - I refused to give him any other information than what I had forsale - no address, no credit card and told him I would investigate and get back to him. Glad I did and a Big Thank You to all of you who took time to post a warning!
- KellyI also got a call from Jack Goodrich. Infact, I just got off the phone with him. They have called me for the past 2 weeks everyday and last night I finally let him explain to me the procedure. Same as the rest $500 I had to pay them for them to advertise the car. I told him i would research them and I would call back. I am glad that I found all these complaints on their buisness, otherwise I would be at a $500 loss too.
He called back today, and I told him I was not interested. He then started to yell at me saying, "I don't understand people like you who want to pass up $31,000 for your car. We have the cash." I said, "Well when you deposit that $31,000 into my bank account, I will then give you my car and the $500 and you can do what you want with it." At this point he was having a fit, and yelling a whole bunch of words and then he hung up on me!! LOSER!! Don't fall for these scammers!!!- Caller: Autoseller Network

Telephone: 623-321-3285 - bacaperson named chris stone called me and also promisses me lot of money for my car. Also they will send you check for more money than your car is worth, but they want the difference back.. How it works.?
for example you are asking for the car $ 13.000, they will call you and tell you that they have a check form the auto insurance company for $ 16.000. They will tell you to send $ 3000 difference to someone else or back to the for the shipping of the car. The check that they send will clear you get 16k and you send them 3k. Few weeks later bank will take or freze 16 k in your account because the check that they sent you was fraudulent. You gonna be $3000 dol short for that difference, but you will not find that person who cashed it , because they have some crackheads with fake id's who will cash it for them. - Thank you!Just got off the phone with "Grant" - (888) 980-1223 x 203. He called earlier and I told him I would call him back. I checked out the number in the meantime and found all these warnings. I went to Better Business Bureau (www.bbb.org) which had this:
BBB Accreditation
On October 21, 2009 the accreditation was suspended due to failure to eliminate the underlying cause of complaints on file with the BBB. The matter will be reviewed by the BBB's Board of Directors at its next meeting.
BBB Rating
Based on BBB files, this business has a BBB Rating of NR .
Reasons for this rating include:
•This business has no rating at this time because its rating is being reviewed and/or updated.
Grant called back before I had a chance to call him. I told him about the BBB rating. He said that was incorrect because he "just spoke with them today." I told him he could give me a call back after they got the BBB "fix" their rating. He hung up the phone on me!- Caller: Auto Seller Network

Caller are desperate low-paid(commission only) scumbags from one of these BS market your auto companies. They will lie to you and tell you they have a buyer for your car. They spam Auto Trader and Craigslist ads. They will lie about having buyers, financing, marketing, websites, etc., anything to get you to give them your credit card number so they can charge you for non-existent marketing services. They also do not follow the law and call numbers on the National Do Not Call List. They also do NOT maintain a Federally Required Do Not Call List internally. Asking them to put you on their Do Not Call List will get you nowhere. These scumbags will call back again and again and again to harass you. Avoid these frauds !
Also, after they call, please go to :
www.donotcall.gov
and file a complaint against these frauds for calling you if you are on the national do not call list or if you have already told these scumbags to put you on a Federally required internal do not call list.
Also, these companies are VERY WELL KNOWN for coming to these sites and posting fake praise for their company. It's part of their plan. They know they get flagged all over the internet and search out the complaints. They post fake good reports about themselves continually.- Caller: Auto Seller Network
