I got a letter that looks like a government tax form 2013, prepaid postage from oklahoma city.  says FINAL NOTICE OFFICIAL DOCUMENTS ENCLOSED.  inside is fake Delta Sky Rewards logo with a fake voucher for 2 roundtrip tix.  the phone # is 1-888-980-1464.  I called just to see what the scam was, sat on hold for 5 min then was told to leave a message with my phone #.  SCAM

You are not alone.  I got this same governmenty-looking thing, postmarked Oklahoma City, for the "Award" of 2 round-trip tickets.  It was a "Final Notice" and I had never received a first.  The letter claimed they had tried to notify me several times.  Nope!  I figured it was a fake because it was signed by a typewritten "Awards Department," had no return address and looked a great deal like the scammy stuff my mother used to get for the creepy fake sweepstakes.  They always wanted some personal info to continue.  What I would like to know is, why, if this is fake scam stuff, and it is being sent via the mail, does the USPS not get involved?  Seems rather illegal to me.  I thought it was sort of funny that the outside of the envelope stated how urgent this was: EXTREME.  What?  No exclamation point?!?!!?!?!?!?  I hope no one falls for it and that the senders go broke paying for printing and mailing.  That'd be sweet!

Got the same letter.  Didn't call, but appreciate the posters here.  Guessing first poster didn't leave phone number?  If you did, would love to hear what happened after.  Definitely looks like scam.
