Kept calling left number called back told them not to call they cussed me out and called me names. Scammers I believe. Saying had papers to serve

They keep calling without giving any information on who they are asking for money. Have attempted to call entire family

Called me threaten serve papers on debt. When sent offer paperwork was from another company and the address on the form was not real.

They left me a message saying that they tried to serve me papers, which is not the case. They also mispronounced my name . They stated it was an attempt to collect a debt however I have over 800 credit score.

Received a call from a woman looking for Nick out of concern that he shows up for his court case.  Even provided a case number.  She said they, Hudson Rossmore, couldn't get ahold of him and it would be bad for him if he were to miss it.  Pleaded that she be given other family members phone numbers so that they could locate him for his own good.  There is no court case.

My mother received a call from someone saying they were trying to reach my husband to serve him court papers. They gave her a number to have him call and gave a bogus court docket number. When he called they said they were trying to reach me. They referred to me by my maiden name (I have been married over 5 years). They said they sent me court papers in the mail and that someone tried to serve papers at my house today. No one came to my house all day. When I asked what this was in reference to since we haven't done anything wrong and don't owe money to anyone, they said it was a debt collection agency trying to collect on a jewelry store credit card that my ex-husband ran up over 10 years ago. This account hasn't been on my credit in over 3 years! They said I needed to pay over $2000 or I would be taken to court and charged with attempting to defraud a financial institution. If it proceeded to court I would need to pay over $4000. When I offered to pay $50/ month they told me that wasn't enough. I told them I would think they would be happy to get anything since this debt is over 10 years old and I have already disputed it. I told him I didn't make the charges and wanted them to send me a copy of the sales receipts because my signature was forged. He told me it's been over 10 years so I can no longer defend myself or dispute anything. At this point he got nasty with me, so I yelled at the guy and hung up. They immediately called back. I didn't answer. They called again right away and my husband answered. When he asked what was going to happen if I didn't pay it the man responded by saying, "Oh she's going to pay it." My husband eventually told him we are not going to pay them anything. We will wait for papers. Then he hung up. Nothing about this adds up. We are pretty sure it's a scam.

Received 4 calls in a row from (888) 980-8354 today, by a woman by the name of Danielle McClain. She threatened me to call her back immediately regarding a case against me, and gave me a specific court cast number starting with HM-. She told me that she would be stopping by my house today to serve papers and that I need to call her back immediately. I could tell it was a phony call because she sounded like she was reading from a script. She sounded like a complete idiot! This is FRAUD as I checked with the courts in my area with the case number given.
