received a call from 718-705-5897, they left a vm advising it was a "sensitive personal matter" and gave me the 888-982-6834 # to call back with a "reference #" that started with NYPD.  the name they used was not my actual name but the name as my employer has it written because it is too long to fit correctly into their database - this leads me to believe it's a scam.  Call always comes in on a spoofed number and IF they leave a VM they give the 888 number to call back.

I keep getting messages from this number. Same as the rest, stating my name and that it is an urgent personal matter then giving me a reference number starting with NJBB.

Call came on my land line as "Toll Free Number." left recorded message to call re "time sensitive personal matter.  Number lookup says "no name associated with this number."  Few minutes later called my cell phone which does not accept voice mail.

1, why would you look up your own number? Not enough people falling for your scam?
2,  what do you mean "Radnet owes most radiology from East to West coast"?

Automated message left message saying "please call back for an important time sensitive personal matter", then left a call back # and reference #, but message was so quick I had to listen 5 times to get all the #s.

I called back from my business landline, but they would not give any information... I gave them the reference # they provided but they wanted more info to confirm my identity, but I would not give any info over the phone. I told them to send by mail and if it was a legitimate bill it would be paid promtly

Your correct. This is truxton radiology in bkfld ca.  It's a billing service outsource. I too am waiting for insurance they are calling based upon aging accounts vs finalized billing. Check eob for responsibility then pay or send 1.00 to reset aging on account and pay down.

I sometimes wonder where people come up with these harebrained schemes.  Check EOB?  Why?  This is a third party debt collector and it is up to them to prove what you owe if you owe anything and that they have the legal right to collect it.  Send them a $1.? Again why?  Instead read my previous sentence about proving what you owe.

Received a call from this number but didn't recognize so didn't answer. Message left was a robot voice saying my FULL NAME with a reference number. Stated I needed to call back immediately to this number regarding a time sensitive matter. Looked up number and landed on this page reporting it as a SCAM.
