888-999-9999

Didn't answer. They left no message. Very bizarre number though.

Is this a telemarketer telephone number? What company or individual is assign to this number?

I received a call from this number today twice, each time it was labeled as Test and 888-999-9999. The first time my husband picked it up, said hello and nobody answered. The second time I picked it up, and as my usual, if it is from a number I do not recognize, I do not say anything until they say something. After a moment a man says, I'm sorry, I have the wrong number and hangs up.

This number has called us at least 4 times today.  Does not matter if we answer or not.  No one on the line and we get called again.  How do we stop this

Got the call while I was away....I tried calling it back and got a recording stating that my telephone was either blocked or had calling restrictions...and I could not reach them. If I can't reach them, they shouldn't be able to reach me...IF they ever do reach me, they'll wish they hadn't!!!

5:20PM eastern time, got a call from this number. Weird number. Did not answer. They hung up when machine picked up.
Caller ID said unavailable.

Called this morning and I did not pick up.  Caller ID said "TEST."

Just got a call from this number.  As usual, i did not pick up because i don't know the number.  Caller ID said "Test"
they left no message.

Two calls today, I screen, spammer no doubt

Calls 3-6 times a day during the weekdays

I get multiple calls from this company and no one is ever on the line if I answer.  I did a search of the number and found the following info:

I've gotten a few calls from this number over the past couple of weeks.  I do not answer and they do not leave a message.  If it keeps calling me, i will just block it.  The caller ID is "TEST 888-999-9999"

I just answered this call and the person on the line said they wanted us to thank Pres Obama for the push for back ground checks on guns.  This is a position I endorse.  They wanted to connect me to the White House to offer my thanks.  Since I don't trust anything with a number like this I pushed the big red button on my Call Blocker.  If they call again it rings once and then it hangs up on them.

I have received 2 calls from this number today.  It is listed as TEST.  I called back one time and it is an adult site.  I hung up.

I think these are scammers from a call center that are working off a list of retired people, AARP or something like that, in hopes we will fall for something. Try "call blocker"' !. Got two calls one right after the other right after each other.

Came home from work & saw this bizarre # on my phone, 15 times in 8 hours! Annoying.
