My sons phone had a voice mail from this number. I listened to it and it was a long message from our living room. I heard my kids, tv and everything else. This got me thinking, our phones are really spying on us. So creepy.

    bait and switch
Call went straight to voice mail. It was a woman left a message saying it was bait and switch health insurance and I give them the bait and they help me switch health insurance companies.  Then left another number to call. On the mobile as well.

I believe this is a number used by various people for spoofing their number when calling and people only do this for illicit reasons.  Block the number if you can.

Well, I think this is the tool that this company is using along with fake caller ID of 9009999999 to bypass ringing the phone and going directly to voice mail:  http://www.slydial.com.  Have sent a terse email to slydial about this.

National Health Insurance.  Left me a 67 seconds message and asked me to call them back at 657-230-7525.  Looked like they spoofed their number with 19009999999.

Yes. I've heard of the backdoor thing. A tactic scammers use. For me the voice mail was from a man claiming to be returning my call for insurance info. I've recieved several calls like this and all from different numbers in different states. Definitely scammers.

I also receive calls from a "health insurance company" that admits that it's bait and switch  (either they're the worst scammers in the world, or they can't be prosecuted if they admit they're a scam). Started receiving these calls right after posting the last 4 digits of my phone number to a Facebook post saying it could "tell you your phone's secret name). I had a feeling that post was a scam so wasn't surprised when I started getting these calls. Did you happen to also comment on that post?
