Let ring and didn't answer - they didn't leave message. Blocking

many calls from this number, caller ID; Health Solutions.  Scam.

This 904-497-1141#, was in my recent calls list. When it rang, it showed up on my phone screen,
as an 850 area code and an 849 exchange# from my area, Chipley, FL. But I don’t remember the last 4 #’s.
It was not the same number that is in my recent calls list, which was 904-497-1141, from Jacksonville FL
I answered, ‘Hello?’
An African/American lady asked, “Hello?”
I said ‘Hello’.
She said Hello, a second time.
I answered ‘Yes?’
She asked, “Did somebody call me from this #?”
I said, ‘If I did, I didn’t mean to.’
She said “ok” and hung up.
Now I’m worried that the conversation was recorded and they will use my ‘Yes’ to hack into my phone, bank acct, or who knows, what else?!?!

Just heard breathing no response

The caller ID showed OFC C Brown as the owner of the call.  When I answered I could hear the system switching to an operator who said "Hello"  Since this was some kind of robocall, I huny up

I did not answer. Voice mail left. It looks like an automated call. Phishing suspected

call from 904-497-1141  Caller ID says   OFC  C  BROWN    so it looks like law enforcement.  Have relatives in the 904 calling area so it scared us but we didn't answer.  No message left - and thanks to you all we see that it was a liar on the phone

I can only reiterate what others have said. I was on the phone with an important call when this number called so, I didn't answer it. The called did not leave a message.

I've gotten a few calls over the past few months from the same area code and exchange but always have missed the calls. No messages were ever left.

Numerous calls from this number have gone to my answering machine but no message was ever left. Latest one on 4/10/18 at 10:53 AM EDT.

Showed on caller I.d. as Ofc C. Brown....904-497-1141.  I didn't answer nor was a message left. I researched number and found others who have had the same thing.

I answered the phone. I did not have my glasses on so I could not make out the caller
ID. They were looking for a hand out for Veterans. I just hung up.

This [***] called my house Sat. morning at 8:05.  I gave them an air horn as a greeting, and now I've blocked the number.  Who would call at 8:05 a.m., but a slimeball scammer?  They won't call me again, that's for sure.  The number immediately rang busy when I called it back so you know it's fake.

That's what you think as using loud noises as an attempt to stop junk callers on your end still requires you manually answering. That's one of four reasons why they'd call in the first place so all's not lost. This particular one might not, but rest assured, they can still profit by reselling your number to third party pests.~I Was Prepared~JustinCase

Can you hear yet after that pointless stunt? Modern phones don't transmit sounds at harmful levels so the only hearing affected would be yours.
