Called for an IT department employee who has not worked here in years. When I told them that the employee did not work here, they wanted to be transfered to the IT head. I asked what the call was regarding they say they could not divulge that information to anyone other than the employee they wanted, and would instead just update their records.

On my black list now.

Second call

Called & asked for myself (first name) when I confirmed they'd reached me and asked who they were, they prompted by asking for another me (by first name) but different last name & different company. Then said sorry for bothering me as they'd obviously dialed the wrong number. BTW, my first name is an uncommon one. Not sure what the scam is here but can't wait to find out.

Silent call & hangup

They have been calling several times a day for the owner and I finally had my receptionist put them through to me. I asked what their company did and they said they were not authorized to give that information. I asked to speak to a manager or be removed from their call list. They said they would remove my company. We shall see.
