I read that it is owned by Rogers.  Also found this:

I received a call and no one was there. Thanks for the link to CMA however I dont believe that number is rogers per se; it was answered by PC Party Canada voicemail. I have asked to be removed from their call list for 3 yrs now!! It never ends - the last election this harrassment resulted in me NOT voting PC for the first time in 34 yrs. Think that sent a message I dont like phone harassement? ha!

I found 10 missed calls from the same number today. I wasn't here, so I wasn't able to check what they want from me. :)

I've received at least ten calls from this number today. Finally decided to call it back.

It brings up a voicemail that says the following:

You've reached the Ontario PC Party, please leave a message.

I have received many calls from this number as well. I didn't answer them because the caller ID said "Unknown Name". They call me as late as 8:30pm as well. Did anyone who called the number back leave a message on that voicemail? I'm thinking about doing that.

Repeated calls throughout the day, no answer.

I have recieved call from this number for the first time and she has asked for my name but it was so mispronounced I told her that she got wrong number. What's wrong with these people calling others at 8:30 at night!!!! I have little child who wants to go to sleep and phone rings, it's annoying!

I left a message for them to take me off of the calling list. Probably won't happen though!

Some guy asks me who I am, then asks me if I'm going to vote PC, then starts asking me to verify my personal information. YA RIGHT!

I just got a call from this number, didn't answer.  I've never voted PC in my life (I'm a card-carrying Liberal), and don't intend to start.  Wonder what they want from me...

why are they (Ontario PC) calling now that the election is long over?
there were 4 calls from them today on my caller id, no messages left though.
I've never noticed this number come up before...

Was the PC party doing a survey.

i answered the call from this number and they asked for my father. and said his name wrong.. when i asked if there was a message he said it was jeremy form the office. if anyone from my fathers work call they know how to pronounce his name.

i answered another one of the calls from this number and asked what they werecalling about and they said that they were wondering if my father was going to be voting for the PC party

This happens every election year, where unwanted calls from the PC Party start pouring in, and at the most inconvenient times of the day.

This year, of 2008 I've had two calls one after the other from them both in the same day ! One call came in at 11:45 a.m. and the second came in at 1:45 p.m. only two hours later.

As anyone can see this is extremely annoying. I haven't bothered to answer either one of the calls, and if they want to, they can leave a message on my machine.

I refuse to answer any calls that show up on caller ID with Unknown Name or Number.

Apart from that, I don't know of any other political party that would go to such a measure as to try to subdue someone into voting for their party or party members by constantly harassing an individual at his or her place of residence.

These repeated calls are both unwelcome and unnecessary. It's bad enough that I have Telemarketers calling me at several times of the day throughout the week. And don't even get me started on the topic of Jehovah Witnesses who come to my door trying to spread their word and preach their BS cult religion in my neighbourhood.
