I beleive this number to be a part of a scam under the name of Northstar Global incorporated

I actually didn't get a call, but a letter from Northstar Global Inc in Burlington Ontario, saying we won $250,000USD in a lottery.  With the letter came a check for $3970 USD from Citibank from Northstar Global in Rutherford NJ.  I could not find any company in either address, so I am going to take a shot in the dark saying that this is a scam.

I received the same letter with the exact same amounts. "Winning Final Notification" but this was the first time notified. I think it is a scam also.

I got the same letter with the same amount of money except my check was from JPMorgan Chase Bank in New York. I think it is a scam also

I too got this letter from "Northstar Global, along with the check from JPMorgan Chase. I googled Northstar Global Inc, and it is a data management company in Bolivar, MO. I'm sure this is a scam.

I too received the same axact letter with a check drawn on JPMorgan Chase acct NorthStar Global....called the number but the message machine will not hold anymore messages......I would guess if you cash this check there will some cost to it no one sends money for FREE Be Careful

Yup I got the letter too.  For mine the company is "Seidata Group" and the check says BB&T.  Same phone number, same amount of "winnings"... signed by Ryan Fitzgerald and Sheila Harris.  Definitely a scam.

I got the same letter from SEIDATA GROUP, INC., signed by Sheila Harris, and a check for $3,970 issued by a bank called BB&T.

I received a letter in an unmarked, plain white envelope from St. Vincent Heart Centre Lotto address Yonge ST, Burlington ON, A3H 747 CA. It purports that I won a sum of $250,000.00 USD from a total prize award of $87 million USD.  It also included a check in the amount of $3,988.00 to pay taxes on the above amount.  I suggest everyone who has received this submit a copy to the Federal Justice Department as:  the check is not legitimat, nor the company. If you attempt to cash or deposit they will capture your banking info.  The number is likely one that will bill your phone provider hundreds of dollars for minutes of calls.

My husband received the same letter about the 250,000.00 winnings and a check for 3,988.00, I called and questioned this guy and he sounded like he was in the restroom, go figure!!!!!!!!

I have also recieved a winning Notification for winning the Saint Vayincent
Heart Centre Lotto.  I recieved a check for taxes in the amount of $3988.
I have called the number provided to claim my so called Money, My " Agent"
was Randy Simms, very strong accent, African - Guam or some sort. He asked me to read the  claim nunber to him, presto I could deposit the check now. He stated that I should deposit the Check and when I do call him back to get the info to pay the tax. Then I would have the 250k check fed ex to me.  I started asking question " Nothing Lucky ever happens " Well what if I wait for the check to clear, he responded that I need to call him back once deposited. I asked how I won, he stated my name was drawn because I shop at list of stores on the bottom of the winning letter. Funny thou how it is 5 of the most popular companies Walmart-Sears-Home Depot-Lowes etc. He sounded like he was reading from a script.
I can't figure out what the scam is. I have alot of questions.... Who do I call?  Better Business Burough , FBI , if this is a scam someone needs to take the fall.... The Check is drawn from St Vincent Heart Centre Of Indiana. I re-searched the Centre and it is actually a Real Hospitol, question is do they know about some using their name and possibly their account... Anyone research their letters further and could put my mind at ease that it is truly a scam?
