It's tsomething about the New Jersey Law Enforcement blah blah blah. I'm assuming he wanted money; I hung up after telling him I wasn't interested.

I just said hello and kept quit. The guy kept asking can you hear me. After some time he hung up.

This is a telemarketing company.  They only hire mean voiced males to make calls to sound like they are police officers.  They are not the police or any law enforcement agency.  They have gotten in trouble before as they don't donate the money given to them by people.  They may only give 1% to a law enforcement charity and keep the rest....who knows?  But once I hear who they are I tell them not to call me again and as I'm hanging up on them they are actually shouting at me!

The guys who call from 908-818-1052 are just a bunch of low life scum. They keep most the money and toss a few tokens to the police so they can stay in business.
Enjoy sceaming your lungs out a them, treat trash as the scum that they are, when your done scrape their line of crap off your shoes and hang up. Then make a donation to the local police.

I decided to be brave and call back this number from an unregistered prepaid cell phone. I heard music for 27 seconds and what sounded like a male human voice say hello, an then the call was immediately terminated
