I received a call from 978-219-8112 telling me to call call- it was urgent.  When I  called the 908-818-8112, the taped message kept telling me to verify my social security number.

I got this text or sms:

From:  3198309@rr.com

Received a text message to call.  Identified as BOA.  I don't do any business with BOA so called from independent landline to verify what was on the other end and clearly a scam.  Guess the scammer expects enough people doing business with BOA will fall victim.

from 9082953@rr.com.
If you get something like this don't reply or call - it's spam!

I got the exact same thing.  Scam.

Received a text message from 9082293@rr.com Affinity FCU asking to call 908-818-1530.  I called and got a busy signal.

Scam.  I received text message from 9082293@rr.com with the following message:

received text on cell phone on 10/02/14 @ 6pm from 57064220@rr.com. The text read FCU Urgent Notification-Call: (908) 818-1530.

Got a text that read     FCU-Urgent Notification-Call 908-818-1530

I received a text message from 5721820@rr.com that said "(FCU-UrgentNotification-Call: (908) 818-1530)" when I called it said "thank you for calling our 24 hour telephone banking service. A text message has been sent to you to tell your your debit card has been limited due to a security issue. To reactivate press 1 now." when I did it said "please enter you 9  digit social security number to verify your identity" I wanted to get to an operator so I entered "123456789" it said "you entered 123456789 if this is correct press 1 if this is wrong press 2." I pressed 1 then it said "please enter your 16 digit card number" I use the number of a very old expired card that hasn't been good for years. It repeated the number to me and again said "press 1 if this is correct press 2 if this is wrong" I pressed 1 and it said "your card number is invalid please re enter your card number" after re entry it repeated the same message. That is all the further I could get with fake information to prevent identify theft.

I got text from same number AffinityFCU urgent notification. It's a scam.

Both my cell and my daughters cell received a text message (WellsFargo-Urgent Notification-Call (908)818-1530
When I called they said my debit card was deactivated and to reactivate verify my identity by entering my social.

do they have accounts w chase bank, I did and my name and phone # were compromised thinking maybe there is a link there
