Received a call from this number and they said they were calling from San Bernardino county, they asked me is this  was Lory? I said yes and then she just ask me for my date of birth to verify if  it was me, I said who is calling again I’m sorry? And she said I already told you! I’m calling you from San Bernardino County... I was like I’m sorry but I don’t feel comfortable telling you my personal info and she hung up 😐

Same thing happened to me

I received a phone call twice from this number. I couldn’t hear anything on the other side of the call, it was just complete silence. I was asking, “Hello?”

Some woman asked for my last four ssn and my date of birth. Even if her called ID is SB COUNTY, do not trust it. No one in the county should be allowed to ask you this especially an unofficial landline. Be careful and don’t give any info.

This number was legit. It is from the San Bernardino County Transitional Department (welfare). But it can also be spoofed so NEVER give your information to anyone who asks unless you are expecting the call. You may also ask for their worker # and call the toll-free # to verify them.

Received call from number I wasn't sure who it was so I didn't answer but received more calls & I answered & it was the case worker they did state it's San Bernardino County calling & to verify my birthdate but I recognized the voice & was able to confirm it was the case worker I spoke with before regarding my case, they just wanted to confirm an update on my case. Safe caller from my experience but be vigilant(trust your gut) on who you give your info to!
