My father received a phone call this morning at 740am telling him about some tragedy.  He is 89 years old and hard of hearing so he was confused. I wish these idiots would get a job.

I received a call from this number at 9:15 am. A man with a heavy east Indian accent addressed me by my last name and said that there had been a $300.00 transaction charged to my Visa at 3:00 am and did I make that purchase. I replied no and then he wanted to know the last time I used my Visa to which I replied 5 yrs ago I don't have a Visa anymore. He then wanted to know if I had a debit card. I told him that I didn't think I should talk to him so he hung up on me! He was definitely in some type of call centre lots of background noise.

Called at 3:30 A.M.  Didn't answer, let it go to VM, which picked up several people talking in some sort of accent.

Phone rang 5:15 a.m. from number above. No one gets good-news calls at 5:15 a.m. Would love to meet people responsible for call.

Phone rang at 5:00 AM a few days ago, scared the hell out of me (1st thing I thought is Family Emergency) and listened to two people speaking in Urdu or Hindustani? The background noise was that of a 'boiler room' telephone operation, one of them must of inadvertently dialed my number while discussing something with a colleague.

 I'm getting a steady stream of automated 'free Florida vacation' calls, along with the usual lower your credit card interest payments (I'm in Toronto).
