called me saying they was from google and wanted to put my business on front page of google...
after repeatidly asking what is it exactly--did they expect money--they wanted to put me to  a supervisor---
again i said what is they are wanting im genting very annoyed at repeating myself---they hung up

They phoned once. Told them I wasn't interested and I hung up. They phoned right back, I added number to block list. Now my block list has shown they tired another 4 times!  Haha.  Every Phone should have this feature.

Several times everyday. I do not bother to answer these calls.

After all this time it finally downed on me that their key word is (are you the business owner?) aka they're not a (customer). My answer from here on, correct I am, CLICK!

These guys called 6 times in an hour yesterday, and they started again today. Im having the number blocked so it doesnt even reach my phone ... but Im sure theyll just come up with another number.

Ive started to tell all these kinds of calls that in order to speak with someone that the consultation fee is $150 per hour.
They usually dont know what to say, but one offered to pay only $2 lol

I was able to get out of them this information that is actually bogis ...

They do not even know what website you own when they call you
simply looking for those who just do not know any better that what they do you can do yourself for free and it takes 15 minutes to do

These calls come from an auto-dialer and at the other end is a telemarketer. Most of them don't really know what they're doing or saying, but they know that they need a sale or else they get replaced.

Called once, hung up. Called two minutes later, asked to speak to the owner of the business. We're a non-profit, but the ED had left for the day. I asked if he would like to leave a message, he just said no and hung up.

They call twice a week to speak to the owner of the place at which I work. A couple times they have said they are from Google and wanted to verify our listing, which the owner takes care of on his own and has no idea what this guy on the phone is talking about. but this past time, I said "Is this Google?" And he said no. I have told him repeatedly our owner is offsite and is never in the building but he keeps right on calling. The Caller ID says BigBearLakCA.

Called today asked if I was the owner of the business - said no - can I help you with something or take a message - and he said okay bye.
