Called and I don't even have a mortgage! Can anyone figure out how to stop all these automated calls?

Constantly calling..it is automated about mortgage fraud. I don't even have a mortgage! Please help stop these people from calling me!

Just received a call from this number, they left a voice mail for mortgage help to avoid foreclosure.  Did a reverse phone look-up and it comes up:

I just filed a complaint with the do not call registry.

I got a recorded call from this #, it said to press 1 to talk to a person or 2 to be removed from the list.  I pressed two.
I waited about 2 minutes and decided to try the number.  A lady answered saying 21st Century Legal or very similar.  I informed her that she had called me and she said she didn't call.  I told her that I was prepared to sue if this continued and that she had called a number which is on the National Do Not Call Registry and a cell phone on top of that.  She hung up before I finished the last sentence as soon as I got the word National out of my mouth.
Also, if you heard a fellow is in jail for threatening a company such as this with violent acts.

Yeah i have also been getting the same calls, i just learned to google the number if i dont know it, when i came across this site, im in Buffalo, NY... Unreal.........

Number 909-909-5123 keeps calling my cell phone thus consuming my minutes. Please have them stop doing so.

You weren't taken off. You were added to a list of live persons. It's like email spam that had you click a link to be removed, but you never were. You were simply added to a list of known good email addresses for future spam.

This is phone spam, like email spam, and it should be treated the same as email, to wit: NEVER OPEN AN EMAIL FROM SOMEONE YOU DON'T KNOW AND TRUST, AND NEVER ANSWER A TELEPHONE NUMBER YOU DON'T KNOW AND TRUST.

If you answer, all you get is added to a list of known good numbers with a real person that answers. Now you are targeted and the list sold to other telemarketers who don't abide by the do not call list,probably because they are shady. Even if they are not shady, it's spam just the same, and should be treated like spam.

Pass the above information on to everyone you know, and when these [***] can't connect to anyone because nobody answers their spam calls, it will stop. The government can't stop this (and why should they? are we babies on the government teat?) you can.

calls a few times a day and leaves a voice mail b/c i don't answer. voice sounds like a recording every time, but i never call them back. i get calls from so many different telemarketers everyday, ugh

Called, I didn't answer, and it left voicemail saying it was about "debt restructuring," then said "press 1 to speak with a representative and 2 to be removed from our list."

Calls and I don't have Mortgage. Waste my minutes. I but a minute card and it wastes my dime.  Thankyou and get rid of please.

Called again today. Sick of the idiots. Wastes my minutes. 10 cents a minute everytime they leave a message. I'd rather I could talk to my friends, then listen to some jerk talking to me about a Mortgage! I don't have one and do not plan to have one.

this is the 2nd comment i leave no this caller, in 20 minutes, on a different web site. on that last messenge i said the have not hanged up the phone, its now been about an hour.

Pre recorded message, and I am on the national do not call list.  We should all report this--squeaky wheel--there ARE laws to protect against this and that IS the government's job.

Keeps calling but nobody speaks when I answer, even if I wait a minute or more.

Got a call on my cell today from this number-didn't pick up because of unrecognized number-I learned my lesson from other similar calls that I have received. If I answer every single spam/junk call that I get, boy, the minutes actually add up-who pays? Me, of course. So do not pick up or answer-let them leave a voice mail instead (which they never do anyway)
