Card Services, phone scam, guess everyone blocked there other #'s. Now shows up on caller ID as wireless call

The recorded message says it from Card Services, who ever they are! They do NOT leave a caller ID or reference number.

Have called continuously for a year.  Why can't they
 be cut off?

Hang up call from this number 20 minutes ago.  Ugh this is happening everyday from more than 1 telemarketer.  Why can't they just STOP already?????

Dead air calls. Robo calls. 2 so far today.

They call I have blocked 5 different numbers.  This time I pushed 0 to talk to someone and when I said what do I have to do to make you go away she hung up on me.

Got a call from this number about an hr ago.  I hit "1" for more info.  The guy came on the line and went through his speech.  He did verify my number and address.  He then asked for my CC number.  I gave him a false number and he said it did not verify.  I then told him I didn't really have 4k in debts and didn't even have a CC.  I told him I was just wasting his time like he was wasting mine.  Man, did he cuss me out!  I just laughed which seemed to make him madder.  I told him to just keep it up as he was wasting more time.  He then instructed me on how to stop the calls; by setting fire to the phone and shoving it up my a$$.  I just laughed.  He hung up.

I have recieved four of these calls this afternoon.  They don't have any recordings or people at the other end.  It just rings and then it is silent.  This number came back to an address @ 123 Front Street, Birdsboro, PA 19508 but I was not able to find an address that matches this location, so it is kind of funny that they used the FRONT street name for fronting their operation.

They called, didn't leave a message I called back and a machine voice states the number called, no one is available to take your call, please call back.

The "time-wasting" ploy works nicely for me, too.  I gave up asking what card they are calling me about
since they just guess you have a MC or Visa.  They won't say specificlly what company they
represent.  When you press them, they hang up.  They call from a different number each time, so
I'm running out of numbers I can block on my Caller ID Box.
So, now I play a game on THEM!  I play along and tell them I have $6500 in CC debt.  They get
enthusiastic and offer me a "plan" to lower my rates.  I tell them to wait while I get my paperwork.
Then, I lay down the phone and shuffle some papers, but I never come back on line.  I wait until
I hear the telephone "off-hook" beeping signal and then hang it up.  Each time I try to see how long
it takes until they give up and disconnect.  So far, the record is 17 minutes!!  I've turned the irritation
into a fun game for myself.  I look forward to their next call!!  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!

Calls from this company several times per month.  I've repeatedly asked them to remove this # because we're on the DNC list.  They ALWAYS hang up before I'm able to say anything about the DNC list.  Perhaps they think that will save them from fines.  LOL  One guy did interrupt me saying, "You don't want to save....?"  I started repeating my request and he said, "You really don't want to save....?  Did I get that right?"  I again repeated my request and said, "Did you get THAT right?"  He didn't say anything for several seconds, then hung up.  I'm keeping a list of dates, times & #'s. and will be reporting them.

Just like the other people that have posted I to recieve calls from this number 2-4 time each month but so far ahve note been able to stop the calls. Any idea how I am able to stop them ? deandabomb@aol.com

Caller ID said "wireless caller".  Automated voice said this was a final chance to blah, blah, blah....  Thank goodness I am able to block numbers on our phone.  Grrrrrrr!

I'm going to use the time waster strategies from above. Wish I had thought of that!

Caller identifies him/her self as Card Services. Card Services is the credit card processor for BarclaycardsUS. Actually a contractor calling on behalf of Card Services.

Who wants to start a class action suit against the DoNotCall.gov for NOT doing what they are supposed to do about these harassing calls?
