Call went to voicemail. No message.

Answered phone - caller claims he was from the New York Police Veterans Association.  Must be a scam as Police departments and Police organizations never solicit for monetary donations by telephone.

Just got 4 phone calls every seven minutes from this number saying they were from NY Police Veterans Association. The number the caller called from is not a number that is in service. Every seven minutes? 4x? Infuriating.

I had the same exact experience...Sounded like one of those robo recordings...the minute you say hello, the voice is triggered to start talking..

Phoned from 914 292 5129 - "Bedford Village NY". Caller did not leave a message.

I answered, thinking it was a neighbor. I said "hello" and heard a guy pick up and say "hello?" When he realized I actually was on the line, he triggered the NY Police Veterans recording. D*ckw*d.

Called several times. Answered once. No one on the line. Have ignored ever since.

I also received a call from this number asking for a donation for the police dept.    Now I can add this number to the other 7 numbers linked to scam calls.    Also Bedford Village, NY

Somebody impersonating a police officer, looking for money for some kind of charity.
Phone not in service.
SCAM. In the name of the Police Department.

Called twice today. No message. I have been reading the other comments. Hate this stuff. 😡

They're still at it.  Called twice in a row this evening and hung up each time without leaving a message.

Scam. No cop's look for money this way!

They called me  telling me I will get arrested if I don't get reported to the white plains police

Did not answer the phone, called the number back and it said it was not in service.

Called several times every day.  Answered once. No one on the line.
How I block it?

Just got a call saying the exact thing.  I told him you're not supposed to solicit over the phone and he kept saying wait ma'am then I hung up.  Very persistent, call numerous times during the day.
