Called claiming to be part of NY AMVETS.
I checked aroudn the official site listings and even called the directory, no match found.

Think i was just scammed on my CC, although i did not give my security code.  We'll see waht happens from here.

Repeatedly got calls from this number on my business cell phone.  Caller always hung up after 2 or 3 rings & never left a message. I tried number & got "Your call cannot be completed as dialed"...I see that you have many complaints about numbers starting with 914-339-55__ , so it appears someone has a block of phone numbers in this range.

Try using that recorded message on them and any other annoying calls you get. You just have to screen all the calls so you answer the ones you want.

This is a illegitamate solicition Company. DO NOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION. They do not represent any legalized "DBA". They use an ANSWERING SERVICE in CANADA named XENTEL. XENTEL solely takes messages. And they offer no information regarding the solicitors at (914)339-5513.Their call back number which relays to XENTEL in CANADA is: (800)510-3960.
This situation, and complaints herein, have been forwarded to the NYState Attorney General`s Office for investigation.
