On the March of Dimes Website mainpage, scroll to the bottom and click on contact us. Then scroll to the bottom and click on privacy policy. Scroll down again and in the bottom paragraph are links to their opt-out page. Sheeesh! what a lot of nonsense to go through. I also used their contact e-mail form from the contact page and of course selected telemarketing from the choice box. I typed this message : Please stop calling this phone number (xxx-xxx-xxxx) . We will not consider making any further donations to March of Dimes until this has ceased. We shall see.

This is the March of Dimes.  They call all the time.  If the answering machine comes on, they don't leave a message.  If I answer the phone, they hang up. Didn't appreciate this at 9 a.m. on Saturday morning.  I am a past donor to this organization but am no longer giving them a penny.

March of Dimes aggravating me to death. Their calls have made me decide to NEVER contribute again.

I gave to them once, never again. I did not hold, I hung up. Next time, I will try to speak to a person to have my number removed.
Pests. Do not contribute to march of dimes, otherwise you will be called every day and night.

This CID appears at least daily. The caller hangs up after listening to our answering machine's message.

If these are non-profit organizations, who pays for the telemarketers to call and harass us.  I'm sure they're no voluntaring  their time.

In the phone book, my number is listed first initial, last name, no address, so solicitors keep calling asking for someone that's obviously not me (with addresses seemingly pulled out of left field). They keep on calling me, but they don't seem to care when I tell them they have the wrong number and I'm on the do not call registry, because they keep calling to ask for someone else!

I get a ton of calls from these people at around midnight and sometimes at 2am. I got fed up once and picked up the phone and disided to pose as a FBI agent.....when I responded as such I could hear muffled talking in the background " oh sh*t man....what do I do ?!?!.....just hang up just hang up!!" and soon after the person hung up. I did not get a call from them for nearly 3 months and then all of a sudden they poped back up again !!!!!!

As others have noted, this is a solicitation from the March of Dimes. When I called the number, I got the same message that others have reported, but was NOT able to speak with a person. As a result, I called the March of Dimes donation line and was told to call 1-800-996-2724. Indeed, this put me through to a person, Melissa Campbell calling for the March of Dimes. I have asked her to remove me from the list. She said that she will, but it may take 30 days.

This number belongs to the March of Dimes. I have ignored several calls received from this number. Today I decided to answer and it was a representative asking for my "help" other than money. I declined and hung up before she could finish her sentence.

Please let me know if they removed your number.  I am getting calls EVERY DAY.  Even weekend and got one MOTHER'S DAY. Caller ID says MARCH OF DIMES
