No answer when I picked up.

This number shows up on caller id as "New York" call.  We get this call everyday at the same time.  Today we answered the phone but no one was there.  It's a bit annoying.

got the call today at 7:00 PM.   I'm in NC. I didn't answer.

Got a call from this number at 8:45 AM.  I answered it once a few days ago but there was no answer on the other side.  If it is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, they call me every year wanting me to solicit donations from my neighbors.

has a Contact Us section on the website, where it's possible to type in your phone number and arrange a
Do Not Call etc. for them and all affiliated business.
This looks like the real deal, so if you do this, no more calls.

I also get a call from this number nearly daily, call ID says "New York Call" - so far always when we aren't home, no message on machine.

I called the number back-Yes, it is the Society.  I have helped in the past, and will do so in the future, but on my terms.  The calls are annoying.  Simply call the number back, press 1; stick with the 30 sec speech on how worthy the cause is (and it truly is, just want them to stop calling so frequently).  After the message, there is an option to enter your 10-digit number to be removed.  Enter your number and supposedly, in 30-days, you are off the list. Voila!

They've been calling me all week, but luckily while I'm at work. Then this morning, they called at 8 am on a Saturday and woke me from my sleep! I thought there were laws about hours in which solicitors could call!?!

I wrote a strongly worded message in their contact us area on their website and will not reward this relentless type of marketing with any future donations.

They call over and over and do not leave a message. I am on a do not call list and somehow they still call!

I just called the number back and there are instructions on how to remove yourself from their calling list.  They confirmed with a message that it will be removed from their call list within 30 days.
