Caller ID said "new york call". I don't know who it was.

I do not have caller ID, but used *69 a couple times to find out this number.  I have recieved additional other calls that are probably from this same number that do not answer when the phone is picked up - just a "click" and nothing else.  Fine them the maximum amount allowed for all the inconvenience they cause!

I have gotten multiple calls from this number before 9am and every time i answer the phone, i hear them hang up.  Maybe it's a telemarketer who hears the annoyance in my voice and hangs up??

I get calls from this number also. Once in a while they ask if Xxxx (my wife) is here. As soon as I say no, they hang up. THIS time, I asked who it was before answering and found out that it is the "March of Dimes".  They want 'her' specifically because they want her to do a neighborhood mailing. They usually hang up when I answer cause they want her, not me.

I asked to be put on their 'Do Not Call List'... we'll see.

BTW, it is my understanding that charitable organizations are exempt from using the national Do Not Call list; you must ask each one to put you on their list as they call.

We regularly donate to over a dozen charities and volunteer as well; I'd say we do our part. Personally, however, I am tired of being phone solicited.

Our system says it is "Conway S. Young".  I was previously getting calls every day from March of Dimes and now it is "Conway S. Young" from 914-513-2846

This phone number wakes me up every morning and calling several times more during the day, even receiving late night calls.  My caller ID says March of Dimes....a friend told me to pound the "0" key and then someone should answer.  Well, I tried that, but all it did was hang up on me.  There is never a person on the line, it appears to be a computer program that is intent on making me miserable.  I went to the March of Dimes website and reported it.  Got another call just now.  If it does not let up, I will hire an attorney.  This is HARASSMENT and needs to be stopped!

I called the number back, it is indeed the March of Dimes... they have a voice prompt allowing you to remove your number from their DB.

To have your number removed, Press "1" when prompted to "learn more about our organization." Listen to the "mission statement," then press 3. Enter your 10 digit phone number; the inputted number will be read back to you. If the readback is correct, press 1 to confirm deletion from the caller's database. They say your number will be deleted within 30 days.
