    Same here. I answered, they listened for a moment, I could hear someone talking in the background, and then after I said hello a second time, they hung up.

    They come across on my caller ID as "Maximum Security".  Probably an alarm company telemarketer.

    Number belongs to a company called MPower Communications.  They specialize in these telemarketing scams.  If you want to complain, call 714-453-6700.  I just call and ask for a sales person and then just sit on the line and don't speak, just like they do.  You can also call 888-777-5802.  Complaining doesn't work.  And I'd recommend blocking/masking your number before you call.
