Call multiple times but never leave a message

I rec'd this number on my cell..  I will not answer any number that I do not recognize...  And they keep on calling!!  Who is this??

Call on my cell, did not answer as I do not answer unknown numbers and this caller did not leave a voicemail message to indicate their purpose behind calling me. I looked up the number on reverse lookup and found that it was from a company called Brooks Fiber which is some kind of telecommunications company. I still do not have any clue why they keep calling.

I just received a call from this number; answered the phone and there was no response. From time-to-time I receive business calls from numbers I do not recognize; this number was unknown and without a response I google'd the number... That is how I found this section. Thanks for also posting to the web the fact this is a bogus number. I will now add this to my contact/address book as a "Ingore/Do Not Answer" in hopes they remove my number from whatever process is being used to call me. :-)  As this forumn helped me, I wanted to post my experience here as well for others. Forgot to mention, the call was to my cellular phone.. :-)

I received a call today from this number and a message was left from Ed Fund concerning my student loans.  I didn't answer it either at the time.  So if you have student loans, that may be why they are calling.

Yea i think he is right its probally ed fund cause I own them some money and they call me once a week dident know what the number was Ill just send money in the mail. Thanks buggz

yes they call me at least once a day and yes i do have a student loan but i sent in all the forms to have it postponed because i am disabled and they keep calling anyway.  i want this to stop now

These calls are concerning student loans.  It means you have probably fallen behind on your payments as did I.  Call them back and work it out.

You know if you are legally disabled and are not employed and obviously cannot pay.  The one option is bankruptcy- I am going through it now and he did mention that Stdent loans can be placed under bankruptcy only if you are disabled- I am not so I will eventually have to pay back my $76,000+ bill.....so is an education curse or blessing...makes you wonder

Seems if it is about student loans, they would leave a message. I do not answer unknown numbers either. I also do not return calls to them or to places who leave a message but do not tell why they are calling. There are too many scams out there.

Call from Ed Fund. Didn't answer and they never leave a message. I've never had any kind of relationship with them. They also call from 916-526-8058.

this number keeps calling me, but they never leave message.  the last missed call i got, had a voice message, but it was just breathing noises before they hung up!

yeah I have student loans too that are almost defaulting so it makes sense.

I get multiple calls a day. ..and I don't have student loans. ..never have. No messages,  added them to my reject list.  Irritating!

It's a student debt collector, they never leave a message.  It's a real company though so be sure to call them back!  It can effect your loans and credit score if you don't!
