This number was downloaded in my phone to have my text or calls transfered to it i dont know how it had gotten in there since this is a new phone.

How did you remove the capability of your phone being forwarded to this number?

If this is happening to you, the smart thing to do would be to contact your provider, not ask some random person on a phone number look-up site.

This number is a hacker that takes over your device and communications! SOB!

If your call was "valid", why didn't you tell us who they are? Why did they want your password?

Where did you buy from because same it was new

All of my phone calls are being forwarded to the number 916-835-1098

So has mine. It's definitely a scammer. My recommendation would be to factory reset your phone and not receive calls for a while. Unless you know who it is on the other line.
