IF you answer force them to tell you who they are trying to reach,  why, how much,  and who the original creditor is. IF they decline tell them to stop calling since those are THE THINGS THEY LEGALLY MUST TELL YOU. You can also ask where to send them mail and they must tell you. One other thing that will discourage false claim calls is to ask them if you can record the call-or TELL them you are recording if you live in a one party state.
