Yes I did wanting to confirm an order for an e-cig. The funny thing about it was that I had cancelled my order/account with them days ago.

Whoever this is calls every hour or so. The one time I answers it beeped several times and hung up. Does anyone know who this is? The number of calls without messages is harrassing!

I called this number and it said it was no longer in service. They call several times a day and never leave a message. Very annoying.

The number is calling to confirm an order for ecigarettes. Prado is running a deal online to try their ecigarettes, claiming it's free and all you pay is the shipping and handling. NOT TRUE!  Once you confirm, you find you've actually been enrolled in a monthly plan where they plan to charge you $169 (going on memory here) monthly service. In addition, the "shipping and handling" charge is going to an overseas bank causing additonal charges for the overseas transaction. I tried to cancel my order immediately and when "successful" I was told the upshot was limiting my time to get the product back before being charged for an additional month.

Bottom line - IT'S A SCAM! I'll be calling my bank today to try and despute the charge and - most importantly - any future charges. Got a bad feeling I'll have to cancel and reopen my account to keep their fingers out of my pocket.

    Hope this helps.

I am tired of this company calling me! I have gotten 4 calls in just 3 1/2 hours. I called my credit card company and reported the Prado a a fraud company. They continue to keep calling. How can I make it stop?

I started to get the same calls, 4 times in one day.  When you call the telephone number on the order from the Prado (1.877.647.3735), it states "Our office is closed, please call back during business hours", but then they do not list what their business hours are and what time zone. (it was at 7:30pm central when I called).

I am now nervous about this transaction.  I bought these for a friend trying to quit, and I am worried if they do not follow through on these products and their "promises".

    Ugh!

    Best of luck to you!
What you said is the truth and these people have no integrity whatsoever.
I hope that you can actually do something to stop them.
I wish I hadn't opened the email and made the order, but hind site is 20/20!
I really am outraged, so if there is anything I can do to further you getting this company closed down, please let me know and I will back you up 100%. Wouldn't it be nice to place a class action lawsuit against this scum? So to have people who support what you are doing and have suffered the same harassment as you, might help somehow.
Keep us posted & again, best of luck to you!

How I wish I had investigated this purchase BEFORE doing it and then I wouldn't be in the same boat as all of you fine folks! Argh! I am pissed off!
Yes I ordered the e-cig by Prado on their website that I accessed from an email that was sent to me.
Yes I submitted my credit card information on the website that assured me that the charge would only be $9.95 (because I qualified for a super-duper awesome special!).
Woo-hoo! I am finally going to be able to quit smoking after 30+ years! Not!
I got my first phone call within an hour of placing my order. They called to "verify my credit card information". I told them that I would not give that information out.
They hung up on me. Are you feeling it? It was a light bulb moment for me.
Then I started investigating it and found this website.
I haven't started getting the harassing phone calls yet but I am buying an air horn on my way home and I am going to use it whenever I see this number on my caller ID!
I also had to call my bank and close my debit credit card. I can only hope and pray that by doing that I may save myself some of the madness yet to come.
Hindsight is 20/20, but I hope that all of these posts will help at least on person not to make the same mistake.

Yes, it is Prado and they will bill you 149.00 per
month.  Call their customer service number 877-647-3735 and they will explain that you didn't read the terms of the deal.  For me, they said they cancelled the transaction and gave me a cancellation number.  We'll see how that works.  I called my CC company and they will credit me the charge for today and make sure no others come through.

I feel like a boob.  I do a lot of business on the net and this is the first time I got sucked into anything.  I should have known by the lack of professionalism of their email.  Fell for it because I am a user of another competing brand of ecig.

I made the same mistake as all here, please go to www.bbb.org and report this company as a fraud, if enough people do this the better business bureau will shut them down, thanks for helping.

It's a company called Profinity.  If you purchased a free trial for an e-cigarette that is why you get the calls.  Give them NO information.  The e-cigarette company is Prado or smokefreely.com.  Bad news.  Had to cancel the debit card I gave them but only had a charge for 11.95 and 3.95 which my bank is going to report.

I did the same thing but lucked out with only an 11.95 charge and 3.95 charge from a company called Profinity.  Cancel your debit card as I did and dispute any charges.  The 11.95 charge showed up as Total Care.  My caller ID showed "Pro Support" and they asked me to verify my card number.  I called 888-586-2342 and spoke to a nasty woman who said I've already refunded the 11.95 and 3.95 charges what more do you want.  Totally fraud.

I was told from Prado that I needed to send the e-cig back within 8 days or they would fully charge me.  That's when I decided to cancel my debit card.  I packaged the e-cig with their return address in Scottsdale Arizona and wrote the RMA number that they gave me to "track" the return package. Prado has Corporate Headquarters in Malta. If you see a charge for 11.95 labeled Total Care that is in tandem with Prado.  The company is called Profinity and their number is 888-586-2342.  Good luck.

Thank you so much for this post.  I opened my email and ordered the ecig for my husband this morning.  I started getting the calls this afternoon but each time I answered there was no one on the line.  I tried to call back and it said the number is no longer in service.

I have not seen a charge through my account so far but will notify my bank asap to dispute any charges.

    What a scam!

This is totally a scam  I did order from this company the trial, and it is true that they charge you a monthly fee.  when you want to try and cancel good luck.  they do not want to work with you. we finally got a confirmation number from them after asking 5 times.  very rude people.  so get this it is supposed to be a 30 day free trial period, but the trial period starts from the day that you placed the order.  I did not even receive yet and I only have 12 days left for my trial period.  Also, they give you a date that it has to be sent back already, at your expense.    BUYER BEWARE

I got a call stating they were from Hydroxitone (a day after the real people from Hydroxitone called) and they were calling to confirm my order and making sure that I really wanted the product sent.  They also said they would charge my account 11.98 from total care and 3.98 from profinity save.  They also promised they would send me an email with a link to a free airline ticket and a $25 gift card to a restaurant of my choice just for trying out the product.  I never received anything from profinity or an email.  They piggybacked off of Hydoxitone's name.  I called Hydoxitone to ask them if they were affiliated with this company and they told me NO - it is a scam.  I called to cancel and it was an automated voice that gave me a cancellation number.  I am going to close out my debit account just to make sure nothing is charged to me.  Good luck - hopefully sometime they find these people and stop them!
