This is a call from someone in the Wake County NC jail. Sometimes it is an inmate calling random numbers or the wrong number. But most often it is a friend or loved one that needs to be bailed out. It is not a hoax, but probably an uncomfortable call if it is someone you know that needs bailed out.

I have been getting repeated calls from this number for at least two weeks now, one or two being collect calls.  I don't answer numbers I do not recognize, so the calls have been going into my voicemail which is equally as irritating as the numerous rings of my phone.  Yesterday around 4:00 p.m.  the calls were non-stop forcing me to shut off my phone and thus doing so, missed a call from my doctor.  Thereafter, I reported the number to the No Call List.
