This number called my business line while I was on the phone. no message was left.

Called twice in one day - won't leave message

does anyone know who they are or what they want?

I have received calls from this number everyday since 9/21 and also several days in July; sometimes they call three or four times in the same day.  They never leave a message.  I tried calling the number back and get a recording that says, "The Verizon Wireless number you have called has either been changed or disconnected."  I don't know who these people are, but they are relentless.  I have also received calls from 925-738-0263, 0267, 0252, 0256, 0254, 0262, 0250, 0264, 0249, 0268, 0253, 0260, 0261, 0324 (in July), 0251 (July), 0269 (July), 0323 (July).

OK - I just received another call, 925-738-0250.  This was a company calling for Washington Mutual Credit Card Services to ask me for a payment.  However, this man had a strong India accent, so this must be an outsourcing company of some kind.

Called my cell phone, left no message. My work phone immediately rang but I dont have caller ID on that line. The man on the other end asked for me by my full name, but he couldn't hear me so I hung up. I tried to call back but it's busy. WaMu card services would make sense for me as well.

Called, left no message. I've been getting alot of (925) calls lately with no messages. It's annoying and don't know anyone from the (925) area code.

If it's WaMu card services, so be it, but wouldn't it be a better "service" to leave a message?

This is Washington Mutual credit card collection.  After getting repeated calls (targeting an ex-roommate) and from different variations of the 925 number, I spoke with Becky Slaver, floor manager for Wamu.  I advised her (following several requests to have my number removed) I would go straight to Wamu's executive level to stop the unwarranted harassment.  I explained that I wasn't the person to "harass", I do not know the whereabouts of my ex-roomie, and furthermore I am a current Wamu customer with excellent credit that would not hesitate to close all credit card and bank accounts with them, and of course report her to Wamu's executive level.  I never got another call from any 925 number thereafter.  Wamu's Executive Response Team can be reached at 800-225-5497.

Have been called by 925-738-0002 (&-0263, -0322, -0276) multiple times throught out the day for about 3 days now.  Answered call once and was never connected to anyone.  Have not answered calls since and they will not leave a message upon getting answering machine.  Can't confirm that it is WAMU through local branch.  Sounds like a possible scam.

Like everyone else, I've continued to receive calls, 6 or more times a day, from this number and variations of it for the past week. I do not answer the calls and the caller does not leave a message. If this is WAMU, then I'm really baffled as to why they would call me as I'm current and paid up on my account with them.

This is a WAMU autodialer. A lot of companies are using these now. It dials your number, and puts you through to a customer service person if you answer. I called the number back, and it identified the number as Washington Mutual, then requested me to enter the last 4 of my CC number. I hung up.

These calls come at all times of the day and night. They are absolutely irratating. The thing is if this is Washington Mutual, I have never done business with them. So why the heck are they calling me.

this is a wamu collection department number the thing about them is that if you talk to them and make a agreement for payment they dont seem to live up to the agreement they are pesky S.O.B.'s. I fell behind by one payment and the calls started and havent stopped yet even though I made double the payment and have proven that to them over and over again. I know it is a pain in the a** to have them call and even embarassing at times too, but now I have fun with them I change my voice, do different accents, hand the phone over to my girlfriend, I figure if they want to waste their time I might as well have fun on their dime and give them stupid anwsers ask them dumb questions just basically just f**k with them and give yourself something to laugh about for the day.   Just try it, it could put a smile on your face and give you a diffrent out look on your job or day just thinking about that poor slob who has to make all those calls and how desperate they have to be to take a job harrasing pepole to get a paycheck.

I called this number back, and demanded to speak to their fraud department.  I don't have a credit card with WAMU, so I said that if they thought I had a credit card with them, then they are required by law to investigate possible identity theft and begin a fraud investigation.  They confirmed that I did not have a card with them. I refused to give my SS# because at first they claimed they "couldn't search to find out if I had an account with them unless I gave them my SS#."  After much "assertiveness" on my part, they looked my name up instead of insisting that I give out my SS#.  They said "someone" must have applied for a card using my phone number.  I told them that was odd since I've had the same phone number for over 15 years, and how remarkable that they'd just happen to choose mine for their dummy application.  They said they'd "delete my number" out of their system and I wouldn't receive anymore calls.  Idiots!!!!
