Receive multiple calls from this number on a daily basis and many with variations in the number such as the last digits being changed to 0251, 0272, 0265, 0252, 0258, 0262, 0254. Very annoying as it takes away from business productivity.

This is one of more then a dozen numbers from the same area code and prefix that calls my cell phone, leaving no message on voice mail or not speaking when I answer. Even though I said hello 3-4 times.

I called the number back...it says it is Washington Mutual Card services. It is for registering a new credit card (you know the little sticker you peel off of your credit card and call the 800-number on before you can use the credit card). I recently activated a new credit card with them...perhaps they got my phone number that way. I also got a phone call from 925-738-0274..same thing.

I got a call from this number. First, no one said anything. And then some female finally answered, "Yeah, hello?" and then  we were disconnected. Also, she had some weird way of talking where it sounded more like she almost said, "Yah, halloo?"

I don't have an account w/ WAMu, but got this same call, now over 10 times in two days.  Could be phishing????
Is it possible to block this no. on mobile phone?

Just answer it next time and tell them that they have the wrong number.  They'll stop calling.  It's not phishing, it's a legit number (I have a WaMu account).

It is collections from Washington Mutual. They called here day and night starting at 08:15 AM and called until about 10 till 9. Our son had a card with them but he passed away and we told them this but they continued to call over and over and over asking for him.

It is for collections and they are relentless and never left a message. If we were here we told them and they were so sorry and then called within 3 days again.

I marked Caller Comapany as Collection Agency but it is the bank's collection dept.

This is FRAUD, this is FRAUD, it IS NOT Washington Mutual as I confirmed with them. Anyone who says this is legit is one of the fraudsters also. These numbers are used by an international group calling from overseas. That's why there is a delay for them attempting to speak with you. They have phone banks in Pleasanton, California which call out and if connected bring on someone overseas to try to get your personal information.

I have been getting calls from this number for some time now and they never speak, just hang up every time I answer.  I am not going to answer this number anymore.  I believe it is some sort scam.  As far as a WAMU number, even if it is a creditor, they will at least say something and tell who they are calling from, it is the law.  They will leave a message with a callback number, again, law.

I get numerous calls from this area code and prefix w/ the last 2 digits changing.  They don't leave a message.  I don't answer it b/c the company's name is unknown.  If they want me to talk to them, they need to leave a message.  This all sounds fishy to me.

Caller ID says Clorox. Person claims to be from Washington Mutual. There is a delay an automated voice says, "Please wait. Someone is coming through." When the person comes on they have a foreign accent. The say a WaMu paynebt has not been received and must be paid now to avoid late fees. They ask for account number. When we refused to give personal information they warn again of late fees insist you do not hang up.

I don't answer to this number since it shows California on my caller ID.......I just hang up first 3x you would think if I hung up on them then I was not going to answer the 4th. I tell them this and they continue to call and Even tell them I am not interested...... Duh? What  part of that do they not understand. I don't want to be bother with their BS I have enough on my plate for someone whom 9 out of 10 I can't understand.
