This is one of more then a dozen numbers from the same area code and prefix that calls my cell phone, leaving no message on voice mail or not speaking when I answer. Even though I said hello 3-4 times.

Looks to be from Washington Mutual Card Services along with a bunch of other numbers with the prefix of 738 -0246, -0276, -0252.

Received several calls from this number and (925)-738-0277 (925)-738-0322 (925) 738-0274 (925) 925-738-0330   These people would call everyday and ask for money for a highway patrolman that has been shot.  Never saying what state he was from.  There would be several calls a day from these numbers.

They call three times a day and leave no message or say anything when I answer It getting really old.

this no has called me and leaves no message. they have called several times in the last week

These numbers have called me as many as 10 timesin one day, today is saturday and it is noon, they've already called 5 times.

I'm getting like 14 calls a day all hours from 925-738-2060, 0329,0258,0273,0321,0263,0256...

we are getting 3-5 a day with no answer when picked up.

this is mire than likely a credit card company. If your not late or do not have a credit card.
you might want to make an effort to check it out
becuse someone might have stolen your idintity and opened one
. just dont vollunteer any valuable information till they verify themselves.

Caller ID says California 972-738-0329. No one answers when I say hello, never leaves a message and calls frequently.

The company name was given me by one of the callers:  Washington Mutual Payment Processing Services.  I suggest you write them a letter if the debt collection is for someone not in your home. The address: P.O. Box 660487 Dallas, TX 75266 Here is a copy:

I am notifying you in writing that your agency has contacted me regarding a debt for (person they are calling about).  I have told the individuals that (person they are calling about) does not live here nor is this his/her phone number.  They continue to call.  

Therefore, I am requesting that you cease all communication to my phone number regarding this person’s debt. If you persist in believing that (person they are calling about) is somehow connected with my address and/or phone number, please provide proof of your claim.

You should direct all future correspondence in writing as outlined in the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA) and to cease all communication with me by telephone.

Lastly, I would like to receive confirmation in writing that you have received this letter and will no longer be contacting me about this other person’s dept, or I will be forced to seek further legal action.

I look forward to you acknowledgement that you have received this notice by February 27, 2008.
