Who the heck are these people?

Called the number back. Washington Mutual. New cell phone number and this wouldn't be the first bill collector to call for the previous owner.

Received call from this number trying to get money for a highway patrolman that was shot.  Unknown what state.

Called and it was Washington Mutual. I has this happen before with different numbers (dont recall the numbers.) It asked for my 16 digit account number. Probably a scam. I would definitely not type in the account number. Still have to report this to Wamu.

Folks if you are past due on your payments from WAMU (Washington Mutual) then they will call you on this number at least 3 times per day 7 days a week, they start at 08:45 a.m. and end at 08:45 p.m.  Then they continue to do this for several weeks after that you are going to a collection agency. Yahoo!!

If your phone number is listed online within a resume or any other information listing, change it to 555-555-5555 and only put in a email address separate from the one you use; get one from Yahoo or elsewhere.

Monster.com got all of their resume listings copied by this 925-738-#### company who call and email.

Get your phone number and real email address off of employment listings.

received 2 calls from 925-738-0330. they never leave a message.  don't know who whamu are and I pay all my c.c.  i never answer calls from numbers i don't know & only people i want to call me on my cell have my number. ****beware**** don't answer this call. these people are probably a money scam or phantom creditors trying to trick you into answering.  *****

Claiming to be Washington Mutual, but will not leave name or other information. Current on all Credit Cards bills...What rights do I have in stopping this harsment

Called them and spoke to them for a while.  They said they're in the Philippines and this number is their trump number.  They said they were a credit card services, would not give me a branch number, credit card services number, all I got was Joseph.  Here is his ID number 476836.  

I don't know, could be a scam, it's hard to tell.  I was calling for a friend who was current on all credit card payments.
