Suspicious number called me left no message. Caller ID is "Unknown Name".

No message left. An obvious spoofed number.

Have gotten a fe calls within the last month.  I answer and no one says anything.

I have received a few calls from this Leo Lieber.

Called - no message left.

Have had several calls from this number, Caller ID says Leo Lieber.  No one there when I pick up and if I dial number message says it does not receive call.

I also received this caller left no message.

Not a very creative fake number. And not a very nice man.
Caller said his name is Mike from Home Design.  Asked if I had any inside or outside projects. Claimed his people were  in my area.  Reluctantly said he was calling from San Jose.  I asked if he was a licensed contractor and he said yes, but he didn't want to stay on that topic. He said they would show it to me when they come to the house.  When pressed "Mike" got nasty and said I would never get the contractor license number.  He was so short tempered I'm thinking he wasn't having much success cheating people today...This fake company, using different telephone numbers has, called before.

Received call no message left.

After receiving numerous calls when we did not pick up, I finally picked up when Leo Lieber from 925-888-8888 called. A lady with a bad connection said something inaudible, and when I asked her to repeat it she said they were a home improvement company that would be in our area. I still could not hear her clearly and asked who she was.  She mumbled something and when I asked her to remove us from her list, she blurted "hey buddy I don't have to take this from you," and hung up.

Came in as a blocked number: however I have received the San Jose call as described above and I blocked that number on my phone.

After receiving numerous calls from 925-888-8888 (Caller ID shows Leo Lieber), I answered this call.  It sounded like a Robo Dialer had initiated the call, but after several times saying "hello" and is there anyone there, I asked who was calling?  "Mike" knew my name and said that he was with Home Design Contractors.  Before he could continue further, I interrupted him and advised that he had called a DNC number & we never do business with telephone solicitors.  I told him to remove my name & number from whatever source he was using and never call me again !

Landline Caller ID:  blank

Number appears suspicious to me and with the ID display being blank, I ignored the call.  Thank you for the notes here - this number has been calling once a week for a few weeks now.  Going on our blocked list.

I have been getting phone calls from Lieber Leo 925-888-8888 every day for a few months and I don't know how to deal with it, I don't know how much money is given to officials who pass a law allowing stupid businesses to call you and disturb you and Your Sick father every day and you can't even call them back and tell them what they are. I think people need to do something about this and all the outgoing calling system. Government will not do anything about it, they actually get revenue from it.

Just block the number and get a new tinfoil hat. Your old one has worn thin.

Why don'tcha stop complaining, and help yourself?

Want to significantly reduce calls from spammers & scammers?

Then, forget about using ineffective methods such as a horn, whistle, argument, etc!

Recognize that

• Spammers & scammers ignore the Do Not Call list
• The DNC list is NOT a call blocker!
• Government entities take a LONG time to legally process complaints
• Many spam / scam calls may be from overseas!
• Interacting with the spammer makes your number more valuable, and subject to other spammers!

Instead, obtain a real call blocker (use your favorite search engine to find some), and empower yourself!  Learning how to use one is easy ... even for those with minimal technical experience.

Stop complaining, stop wishing, be realistic, and help yourself!

I've been receiving calls from this number 925-888-8888 frequently the past weeks. No one responds and when calling back the number says doesn't receive calls

A-- hole calls everyday. Blocked the # twice. Anyone know how he bypasses call blocking ?

No caller ID info.  I didn’t answer, and the caller did not go through the prompts to bypass my call screening device.
