Found a free piano advertised on CraigsList for pick-up in Milton, MA. As soon as the seller reached out by e-mail, she asked me to text her at +14042104416. The seller told me a long story about how she needed to move due to the death of her husband to Dayton, OH and that she wanted to get rid of the piano due to space constraints and the "bad memories" and just wanted to give the piano to a nice loving family. I was then told that the piano was already packed up but that the piano could be re-routed to me and that I would just have to pay the moving company. I was given the number +19372300042 to speak to George and that I should refer Allison in my call. Well, I called George and George had a super thick accent (did not seem like a George) and asked me to text him my address to estimate the costs. This is a scam!! Why would a moving company offer to drive the piano from Dayton Ohio if the piano is to be moved there?!

This happened to me as well, the same conversation about a Steinway to give away after the death of the husband. They wanted me to contact George and gave me an email address to reach out to (protonmovers|protonmail.com) and a wesbite (https://theprotonmovers.weebly.com/about.html). This is definitely a scam!!!
